This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have an exciting opportunity for multiple ETO’s to join our team predominately onboard our Conventional Vessels sailing throughout our Network.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, eager to learn and able to share our TRUE Values.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure vessels are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner, through management of day to day electrical, electronic and control engineering maintenance and upkeep.

Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • The ETO is responsible to the Chief Engineering Officer for all the electrical work onboard the vessels. This includes (but not limited to) the routine maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment onboard the vessel.
  • The ETO will also investigate and repair failure of electrical, electronic and control equipment.
  • The ETO will be fully conversant with the vessels PM System and use the system correctly and to full advantage in connection with routine and breakdown maintenance. Records and history must be fully updated as work is completed.
  • The ETO must carry out all work in a safe and efficient manner and adhere to company and statutory regulations. They must abide by the ISM Code and vessel/company SMS.

About You

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate of Competency, as well as previous experience within a similar industry in a regulated environment.

Important details to know:

  • You must have a valid passport with no restrictions for the countries we travel to
  • You will be required to pass and hold a valid medical certificate (ENG1)
  • Shifts are normally 12 hours, covering a variety of days and nights
  • Working Pattern is 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off
