The Vacancy
We have an opportunity for a Freight Operations Clerk to join our Freight team based in Guernsey, reporting to the Freight Manager.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, eager to learn and able to share our TRUE Values.
The Role
This role forms part of a fantastic, hardworking team of which you will be a key member. The role combines office duties and activities in and around the Port. This is a varied role combining office duties and activities in and around the Port. This is a Customer facing role with a strong focus on providing a high quality of service for our clients
The purpose of this role is to assist in completion of the Freight movements within the Port of Guernsey, including manifesting, control of the loading and discharge processes, and carrying out inspections of trailers and freight vehicles.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience of using Microsoft Office packages and the ability to pick up new IT systems quickly. You must have an excellent level of customer service skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment. This role also requires a high level of initiative, strong problem solving, and the ability to remain level headed and calm.
